Assisi & Rome. Stop at the town of Assisi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the Basilica di San Francesco, the mother church of the Roman Catholic Order of Friars Minor Conventual in Assisi, where Saint Francis was born and died. On to Rome for a savoring dinner! A night view of the Colosseum is a must. The next day a historic tour of ancient Rome, the Roman Forum and the mighty Colosseum!
